How HBOT Helped Me Through PTSD. As a West Point graduate and following two tours in Iraq, where I held leadership positions, commanding over a hundred soldiers in combat, I expected an easy transition back into civilian life. My experience however, was much different. Here is my story. It took many months to have the courage to open up to the world, but in the end I feel so strongly about how hyperbaric oxygen therapy helped regain my life, that it is now my steadfast mission to share my story, raise public awareness, and fight to ensure this treatment is available to all veterans who seek it.
