In the Journal of Neurotrauma, Dr. Paul Harch and his team prove convincingly that Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy effectively treats TBI and blast-induced concussion.  TBI and concussion are the signature injuries of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.  This study shows that TBI sufferers have a medical modality to turn to: http://www.liebertonline.com/doi/abs/10.1089/neu.2011.1895.

On November 19, HMS’s medical director, Dr. Henry Prince, was a featured presenter at Empire State Lyme Disease Association’s lecture series held in Manhasset, Long Island.  Dr. Prince spoke about the tremendous healing properties of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for patients suffering from Lyme disease and the significant improvement HMS’s Lyme patients have experienced.

Last week HMS attended a conference in Arlington, VA presented by the Navy League of the United States. The conference focused Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and healing for veterans who suffer from Traumatic Brain Injuries and PTSD. We met many amazing and enthusiastic participants who share our passion for HBO Therapy. At the conference, the Navy League showed a very powerful video that we’d like to share here.

United Healthcare issued a press release on November 10, announcing its partnership with HMS for its individual and employer beneficiaries to receive hyperbaric oxygen therapy at HMS’s state-of-the-art facility.  HMS’s network agreement with United Healthcare makes HMS the only non-hospital network provider of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in United’s prestigious network.

On November 19, HMS will participate in the Empire State Lyme Disease Association’s lecture series held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock in Manhasset, starting at 1:00pm.  There, HMS’s medical director, Dr. Henry Prince, will discuss the many benefits of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in the treatment of Lyme disease.

On November 5, HMS participated in the annual Long Island Navel Expo, a convention held at the Huntington Hiltion for alternative medical practitioners and facilities.  At the event, HMS’s medical director, Dr. Henry Prince, was a featured speaker and he spoke about the benefits of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for a variety of medical conditions.

HMS is excited to announce its partnership with United Healthcare and Oxford Insurance Companies.  On November 1, HMS became a provider in Untied’s prestigious network, making HMS the only non-hospital provider of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in United’s network on Long Island.
