HMS was proud to participate in the Autism Speaks walk at Jones Beach on October 2nd. We walked along with thousands of others to raise awareness for Autism and share how Hyperbaric Medical Solutions can be benefit those affected. It was a beautiful day and we were able to connect with many in such a wonderful community.

Saturday – 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
HMS is excited to welcome Jacqueline Gil, RPA-c (“Jackie”), the newest member of HMS’s professional team. Jackie has worked as a physician assistant in both internal and emergency medicine and she is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Jackie is trained and certified in both Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

We had a wonderful turnout at the Hyperbaric Medical Solutions Open House event in Medford, NY. A standing room only crowd listened to Medical Director Dr. Prince and our guest speakers discuss how Hyperbarics is positively affecting many lives. As reported in the North County Times in San Diego, there is an exciting new study being conducted at Camp Pendleton to see the extent to which Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy helps troops suffering from TBI and PTSD. According to the article, which can be found here, the study hopes to enlist 100 troops. HMS has seen great results with its patients suffering from TBI.
As of October 1, HMS became a provider in the Cigna insurance network. This makes HMS Cigna’s only non-hospital network provider of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy on Long Island. HMS is excited to welcome Cigna’s members to its office.
HMS is excited to announce its partnership with Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield. As of October 1, HMS became a preferred provider in Empire’s prestigious network, making HMS the only non-hospital preferred provider of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in Empire’s network on Long Island.
